HSBC Private Bank provides private banking and trustee services to high net worth individuals and their families in 93 locations in some 42 countries and territories in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa. From international tax and investment services to specialist advice for family offices, HSBC Private Bank offers a comprehensive menu of sophisticated products and services that cater for the particular financial needs of a wealthy client.

Duration
The programme will last 12 months in total and provide a wide range of experience in key areas of the business. Graduates will complete a variety of attachments / regional rotations whilst fulfilling a structured educational programme culminating in CFA Level 1 or UK banking exams.

Training opportunities
Once the graduates are on board, they will attend an Induction programme during the first few weeks where they will understand HSBC’s approach to products, services and operations. Graduates will be exposed to valuable training to develop their technical knowledge and relationship skills. Graduates will be expected to complete CFA Level 1 or UK banking exams.

Mentoring programme
A mentor will be appointed for each graduate to provide guidance, support and encouragement for the duration of the programme.

Performance management
Graduates will be assessed throughout the programme, to ensure that they are on track and any development needs are met.

Career progression
Potential for enhanced progression once the programme has been completed depending on individual performance and potential.
