Apprentices

The apprenticeship at HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA will provide you with a broad banking knowledge base.

Programme overview


Objectives
Over three years, you will rotate around the different departments of our bank so that you can acquire a broad understanding of private banking. At the same time you will attend the CYP banking school for two days a week. If you successfully pass the final apprenticeship exam, you will receive the Certificat fédéral de capacité d’employé de commerce and/or the Maturité Professionelle Commerciale, which allows you to step up to the starting blocks for a career in private banking.

Duration
Three years, starting August 2010

Location
Our apprenticeship programme is offered exclusively in Geneva

Minimum criteria

  • Excellent school results (CO level A)
  • Real interest in finance and banking
  • Good level of English (Cambridge 1st Certificate or B1/B2 level)
  • Fluent in French
  • Maximum age of 22
