Supporting alternative energy

We work around the globe and we are committed to protecting it. So when a client needed help setting up a foundation to fund alternative energy initiatives in North America, we had plenty of useful contacts.

Our client was looking for a bank with green credentials to manage her foundation's assets. One of her associates recommended HSBC Private Bank.

We put her in touch with our HSBC Private Bank team in North America. They were able to find green technology and low carbon energy production projects in line with her interests, including a wind farm in Wyoming and solar power projects in Nevada.

We also developed an investment strategy designed to balance long-term growth with sufficient liquidity to support the foundation's charitable contributions.
