HSBC Private Bank picks up four Private Banker International Awards for 2015

​On 4 June HSBC Private Bank was recognised by the judges at this year’s Private Banker International (PBI) Greater China Awards for its global approach to wealth management.

On 4 June HSBC Private Bank was recognised by the judges at this year’s Private Banker International (PBI) Greater China Awards for its global approach to wealth management. The awards included Best Private Bank in Hong Kong, Best Family Office Proposition in Greater China and Best Offshore Renminbi Offering in Greater China.

“Our successes are further proof that by working together as a team and tapping into the vast resources of the wider HSBC Group, we can strengthen our position in the Greater China market” explains Bernard Rennell, Regional Head of Global Private Banking, Asia-Pacific and Global Head of Family Governance and Family Enterprise Succession.

The PBI Greater China Awards recognise excellence in the ability of institutions to demonstrate a clear and unique strategy to grow their business, provide innovative products and services, demonstrate superior client services and strengthen and extend the global reach of their brands.

More recently, at the London Awards, HSBC Private Bank’s UK International team won Outstanding Private Bank London – International Clients and the UK Domestic team were finalists in the category for Outstanding Private Bank, London – Domestic Clients.

The PBI London Awards were established to recognise institutions that that have done the most in the past year to advance and strengthen wealth management as an industry in the UK and European markets. At the award ceremony, a spokesperson for PBI said, “this bank’s performance and growth, particularly when it comes to its international client base in the UK, makes it the clear winner in this category.
