New location expands WTAS’s tax services to Pacific Northwest clients
HSBC’s Wealth and Tax Advisory Services, Inc (WTAS), an independent (unaffiliated with an auditing firm) provider of a broad range of tax, valuation, and financial advisory services, today announced that it has opened an office in Seattle. The office located at 600 University Street, Suite 2323 is part of a strategic expansion by WTAS to extend its reach to clients in the Pacific Northwest.
“WTAS has been serving the tax and valuation needs of high net worth clients since 2002,” said Mark Vorsatz, chief executive officer of WTAS in San Francisco. “This new location will allow us to expand and offer our services to Pacific Northwest clients.”
The Seattle office is led by Susan Swartz, a managing director. Swartz has provided tax consulting services to high net worth individuals, families and their businesses in the Seattle marketplace for over 24 years.
“As the environment for providing tax services has changed dramatically in recent years, WTAS has emerged to address the need for focused, top-national resources dedicated to serving the issues of high net worth individuals,” said Swartz. WTAS is a member of the HSBC Group, one of the largest financial services groups in the world. The WTAS office will complement HSBC’s commercial lending offices in Seattle and Portland.
