HSBC Private Bank wins Global Euromoney Awards for Top Private Bank in Middle East and Asia

HSBC Private Bank was awarded Best Private Bank in the Middle East in Euromoney's latest benchmark annual Global Private Banking Survey, underscoring our strong emerging markets footprint.

HSBC Private Bank also retained the top spot as the Best Private Bank in Asia for the fourth year running, confirming continuing strength of our business in Asia.

The results, published on 8 February, also ranked HSBC Private Bank as number 3 globally for "best private banking services overall".

It is a sign of how consistently well we have performed that we have achieved top 3 ranking in 75% of the Global Awards.

First place rankings were also achieved in the following key categories:

Number 1 for specialist services for entrepreneurs
Number 1 for specialist services for corporate executives
Number 1 for real estate investments
Number 1 for lending and financing solutions
Number 1 for Islamic banking services

The annual Euromoney Private Banking and wealth management survey provides a qualitative and quantitative review of the best services in private banking, by region and by areas of service. It is an informative guide for high net-worth individuals on the range of professional wealth management service providers that are available. Factors such as assets under management, profitability, ratio of clients to relationship managers, and services offered, among other things, are all considered in developing the ranking of top private banks.
