HSBC Private Bank wins major award

HSBC Private Bank has been awarded the prestigious 'Outstanding Global Private Bank' award at the Private Banker International Wealth Management Summit 2009 in Singapore. The Private Banker International Wealth Management Summit, now in its 19th year, attracts investment specialists from over 24 countries and is seen as a must-attend event for CEOs, private banking heads and other senior executives. The award was collected by Chris Meares, CEO, Global Private Banking. The other shortlisted nominees for the award were Credit Suisse and Barclays Wealth.
At the same event, HSBC Private Bank was a finalist for Outstanding Private Bank in Latin America and for outstanding services to Ultra High Net Worth clients. These awards follow HSBC Private Bank’s success in 2008 where it won awards for its business in the Middle East and for Chris Meares as Outstanding Global Private Banker.
